Display Modules
The 2711P series by Allen Bradley/ Rockwell Automation features high-bright display modules designed to be a perfect fit, especially for locations where fire and explosion hazards might exist due to flammable gases, liquids, vapors, and other such substances. These modules are featured in the PanelView Plus, CE, 6, and other product families. The 2711P series' modules contain built-in sensors that can detect the temperature around them and therefore adjust the intensity of the backlight to adhere to approved limits. For example, the 2711P modules can tolerate up to 55 degrees Celsius (131 degrees Fahrenheit). Furthermore, they require a minimum installation clearance of 51 x 102 x 25 x 25 mm (top, bottom, side, and back) (2 x 4 x 1 x 1 in). These displays measure 282 mm (11.12 inches) in height and 363 mm (14.30 inches) in width. Additionally, the display with logic units mounted weighs approximately 3.2 kg (7.1 pounds). The color active matrix TFT LCD modules have 246 x 184 mm display sizes and a diagonal measurement of 12.1 inches (307.3 mm) (9.7 x 7.2 in). Moreover, the display has a brightness of 1000 candela per square meter and a size of 800 × 600 pixels. Additionally, the PanelView Plus analog resistive touchscreens and fixed backlights. The power consumption rating for these units is up to 70 W (2.9 A) at 24 V DC, and they are intended to be connected to a DC power source with a voltage range of 18 to 32 V DC.
