Part number 1321-3R45-B is a power conditioning product by Allen Bradley. This reactor absorbs line disturbances of different types, which can be a reason for shutting down of the drive. This aids in helping the drive run longer, which is important in different applications. These are designed to specially cater harmonic compensations. The current rating is 45 amperes. At the input side, these reactors help to remove spurious tripping, improve power factor value, increase semiconductor overall life, lessen voltage notching, reduce harmonic distortion, and to meet IEEE-519 or EN-61800 standards. At the output side, the reactors protect motors from various long-time effects, lessen surge currents, lessen output voltage dv/dt, reduce motor temperature, increase semiconductor life, and reduce audible motor noise. These are widely used because they provide so many benefits to the system. The voltage rating for the 1321-3R45-B is 600 to 690 volts AC, three-phase. When multiple drives are connected, the reactors help to lessen cross talk. It has a 3% to 5% impedance. The reactor is internationally used and meets different internationally followed standards. The component has a Class N system for insulation along with an altitude rating given as 1000 meters. This reactor can be stored at a temperature of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. This is an open style reactor. For IGBT applications that have long drive-to-motor lengths, these reactors can greatly protect against rapid dv/dt rise times. The frequency at which it operates is 50 to 60 hertz (Hz) with a switching frequency equal to 20 kilohertz (kHz).
