The 1336-BDB-SP32D is a PCB gate drive board from Allen-Bradley, which is included in their spare part series. This drive board is capable of producing 75 horsepower. It is rated for use at 575 volts alternating current (AC). A three-phase power supply with symmetrical line voltages is supported by this unit. The drive board is designed to work with drives that have a frame size of D. V PLUS, PLUS II, FORCE, IMPACT, and REGEN drives are all compatible. The drive board can be used in circuits with up to 200,000 amperes of current (symmetrical). For safe and reliable operation, an isolation transformer is required in applications where the ground potential varies with the operation or where the Phase-to-ground voltages are extremely high, exceeding 125 percent of the rated nominal voltage. The 1336-BDB-SP32D has features that protect it from damage caused by lightning-caused over voltages. Surge suppression devices are included to ensure safety during operations with a large voltage difference between the line and the ground. The bus capacitors must be thoroughly depleted before installing or uninstalling this unit, as well as performing any maintenance work on it. It's risky if the capacitors aren't entirely discharged. The positive and negative TB1 terminals included in the kit can be used to check the charge held by the capacitors. To avoid electric shock, the voltage reading between the terminals must be zero (0) volts. This Allen-Bradley drive board incorporates a MOV (metal oxide varistor) that provides voltage surge security, as well as phase-to-phase protection and phase-to-ground protection.
