The 1394-AM04 is an axis module by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This product is from the 1394 A/B series. It has a 530 volt DC to 680 volt DC rated input voltage and a 4.8 ampere input current. In comparison, the output voltage of this axis module is 0 to 480 volts AC, 3-Phase. Additionally, it has a 4.5 ampere output current for continuous operation, which can go up to 90 amperes current when the module reaches its peak performance mode. This axis module's corresponding output frequency range is 0 to 240 hertz. Furthermore, this product has a 98 percent efficiency rating and can support 110 µF (microfarad) capacitance. With a 3 kilowatts output rating, an input voltage range of 530-680DC, and a 4.5 to 9 amperage, this axis module is a powerful device from the product range of servo controllers. It is sometimes referred to as a servo axis amplifier made to integrate with the said series. In addition, it is part of the GMC turbo system and also interoperates with the series C axis modules. In a 1394 system, this axis module is an inverter without a heatsink that converts the DC power provided by the system module to a variable AC voltage. Apart from that, its slide-and-lock functionality attaches it to a system module, bypassing up to 100 wire terminals. The module is compatible with a range of servo modules, making it a versatile product. Also, it is built to integrate with some other product ranges.
