The Allen-Bradley 1394C-SJT05-C standard device offers the users 32k program memory along with a 16-bit processor. It consists of a fast and direct connection to the SLC controller. The link helps in racking. It eases the amount of programming that is required to transfer data between the module and the SLC controller. As standard communication, this program supports Allen-Bradley DH 485, RS-232, and RS-422. The 1394C-SJT05-C module contains a RIO along with axis links as communication choices. This device has a DIM and four analogue output channels, four drive enabling outputs, and four drive defect inputs are provided by the 1394-DIM (drive interface module). The 1394-DIM enables every other drive (external) that has a 10 volt velocity torque referencing signal and quad encoding output to be controlled by the 1394C-SJT05-C system module. Additionally, by indicating an error code of E90, The IAM seven-segment shall alert if the capacitance of the bus surpasses the leader IAM pre-charging value. The 1394C-SJT05-C (Basic GMC) system has four-axis units and four auxiliary encoder input-channels. Any Allen-Bradley module with the part number "1394C-SJTxx-L" (Basic GMC) has similar features as the 1394C-SJT05-C, except one key aspect, it would support one axis unit and has two auxiliary encoder input-channels. The code E90 means a pre-charge time-out fault. Moreover, to rectify this issue, the operator must therefore either replace the leader IAM with a bigger unit or remove the axis module to reduce the overall bus capacitance. Furthermore, the system module weighs 23.5 pounds and measures 13.8 x 11.0 x 5.91 inches.
