The 2094-BSP2 is a shunt module compatible with the Kinetix motion control system. This module is designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automations. This module has a maximum current rating of 14 amperes when operating at 230 volts AC and 28 amperes when in operation at 460 volts AC. The module has a resistance of approximately 28.7 ohms. This device operates at a voltage range of 230 to 430 volts AC. The capacitance rating of the 2094-BSP2 shunt module is 470 microfarads with a two-hundred thousand (200,000) amperes short circuit current rating. This module comes with LED status indicators used to alert the user of its current state. When the 2094-BSP2 is used in conjunction with the 2094-AC09-M02-S IAM module, the internally installed shunt resistor in the associated IAM is disabled; however, shunt resistors to adjacent AM modules remain operational. This shunt module has physical dimensions that measure 289 mm x 75 mm x 262 mm, or 11.0 inches x 2.76 inches x 10.3 inches (height x width x depth). The Allen-Bradley 2094-BSP2 is a Bulletin 2094 bypass module with a voltage range of 200 to 400 volts that provides supplemental bypass in regenerative processes. The Kinetix 6000 family of multi-axis servo drive components include the 2094-BSP2. This device works with all 230- and 460-volt actuators and mounts to the Kinetix 6000 power rail. Use the provided manual for configuration and further technical specifications. One can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. The device must be turned off when under maintenance to prevent harm to the user.
