This 2097-V33PR1 is a Kinetix 300 Ethernet/IP indexing servo drive that offers an Ethernet-enabled solution for applications with output power requirements of 0.5 Kilowatts. This 2097-V33PR1 drive is capable of being operated with a variety of input voltages like 80 to 132 Volts AC RMS, single phase with 120 Volts AC nominal input, 80 to 264 Volts AC RMS, single phase 240 Volts AC nominal with 80 to 264 Volts RMS, and 3 phase with 240 Volts AC nominal input voltages. It offers a continuous output power of 0.5 Kilowatts and continuous output current of 2.8 Amperes. It is integrated with a safe torque off feature that is used for disabling the drive output and removing torque without disabling power to the system. The safe torque-off torque is certified at ISO 13849-1 PLd/SIL2. The installation of external safety is needed relay to satisfy category for complying with EN 954-1. Included is a built-in overvoltage and short circuit safety with a power rating of 430 Volts DC and 100,000 Amperes RMS symmetrical, respectively.

The 2097-V33PR1 has a single Ethernet I/P port that can be used for implementing motion-control over Ethernet I/P, communication with control systems like remote I/O devices, and Human Machine Interfaces. The controller may integrate with Logix controller platform seamlessly with CompactLogix controllers as part of the Allen-Bradley integrated architecture system. The drive can also control and integrate with MP series and TL series servo motors and actuators along with the controllers. The 2097-V33PR1 is also capable of electronic gearing, step control, direction control, and analog input control.

The Power Dissipation Specifications to size the enclosure and ventilation system are 28W and a weight of approximately 1.3 kg or 2.9lbs. Although motor power and feedback cables are available in standard lengths up to 90 m (295.3 ft), Kinetix 300/350 drive's maximum feedback cable length is 20 m (65.6 ft). While circuit breakers offer some convenience, there are limitations to their use. Circuit breakers do not handle high current inrush as well as fuses. Make sure the selected components are properly coordinated and meet acceptable codes, including any requirements for branch circuit protection. Evaluation of the short-circuit available current is critical and must be kept below the shortcircuit current rating of the circuit breaker. The 2097-V33PR1 Kinetix 300 is, as we know, a single-phase configuration at 120/240V nominal value and 240 V nominal value at three-phase configurations. Ul applications in the fuse and circuit breaker (CB) specifications include both single-phase with fuses (Bussmann) KTK-R-20 (20 A), Miniature CB Cat. No. 1489-A1C200, Motor Protection CB Cat. No. 140M-D8E-C20 and three-phase configurations with fuses (Bussmann) KTK-R-15 (15 A), Miniature CB Cat. No. 1489-A3C150, Motor Protection CB Cat. No. 140M-D8E-C16. IEC (non-Ul) applications in the fuse and circuit breaker (CB) specifications include both single-phase with DIN gG Fuses having 20 Amps maximum, Miniature CB Cat. No. 1492-SP1D200, Motor Protection CB Cat. No. 140M-D8E-C20 and three phase configurations with DIN gG Fuses having 16 Amps maximum, Miniature CB Cat. No. 1492-SP3D150, Motor Protection CB Cat. No. 140M-D8E-C16. Coil Contractor rings specifications for a 120V drive voltage include 100-C23x10 AC Coil Contractor and 100-C23Zx10 DC coil contractor, same with 240V drive voltage of 100-C16x10 AC Coil Contractor and 100-C16Zx10 DC coil contractor.
