The Ultra3000 series drive 2098-DSD-010-SE works on an alternate current input voltage of 11 to 240 Volts root mean square, single-phase, and frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz. The input current is nominally 9 Amperes (rms) and can withstand a maximum inrush at 230 Volts of alternating current of 100 Amperes for series A or B or 20 Amperes for series C. The continuous output current is 3.5 Amperes (rms) and continuous output current 0-pk is 5 Amperes. The peak output current (rms) is 10.6 Amperes and peak 0-pk is 30 Amperes. The bus capacitance is 1880 microFarads (µF) and bust voltage is 400 Volts of direct current. At 115 Volts, the drive has energy absorption capability of 125 J and at 230 Volts of alternating current capability is 51 J. The continuous power output is 0.5 and 1 Kilowatts at 115 and 230 Volts of alternating current, respectively. The SE designation indicates that the drive has SERCOS interface. The drive is limited to one contactor cycle per two minutes for series A or B and one contactor cycle every 10 seconds for up to two minutes for series C - limited to 12 cycles in five minutes. The maximum power dissipated is 48 Watts. The drive weighs 2.1 kilograms (4.6 pounds). It can withstand temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius (131 degrees Fahrenheit) and as low as freezing (0 degrees Celsius or 32 degrees Fahrenheit). The storage can be in harsher low temperature conditions, but not below -40 degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit; it cannot be above 70 degrees Celsius or 158 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, condensation is not allowed within a permissible humidity range of 5 to 95%.
