Designed to accept both AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current) inputs, this drive was designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation. The Allen-Bradley 20G11ND8P0JA0NNNNNN is a variable frequency drive (VFD), speed converter (VSD), or inverter that is part of the Power Flex 755 series of variable speed drives. This device is suitable for most industrial motorized applications, primarily for motor speed modulation and torque control and for implementing power-saving mode. Before changing the frequency of the voltage, the frequency of AC input is changed to DC input. The generated voltage is then used to control the torque of three-phase induction devices. This VFD contains an integrated transistor that assists in braking. This device is usually housed in an open-type IP00 / IP20, NEMA/UL enclosure, which is not waterproof. The 20G11ND8P0JA0NNNNN drive should not be subjected to harsh settings with high levels of electromagnetic noise and a large number of toxic and corrosive gases and vapors. Normal operation of the drive requires an ambient temperature of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.
