The Allen-Bradley 2711-K10G1 operator terminal is an electronic display device that is primarily used to create an interface between the user and the machine. The device enables the user to optimize the communication channels that exist within the industrial system and thus improve the overall performance of the system. The grayscale display screen paints a clear picture of the state of the machine and allows the user to conduct an analysis of the parameters that affect the functioning of the control system. The display screen is multilingual and can support up to five languages, including English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. The user can select a preferred language during the configuration of the panel and can also change the operational language during operation. The configuration mode menu can be accessed to modify the user’s preferences and ensure a customized and comfortable experience. In addition to an attractive grayscale display terminal, the 2711-K10G1 also supports a versatile keypad that can be used to enter data into the control system. Cursor keys are present on the keypad and enable the user to select a numeric entry object on the screen or to move the screen cursor through displayed control lists on the terminal screen. The keypad also contains function keys that can be used to trigger unique functions that can be carried out by specific components within the industrial control system.
