The Allen-Bradley 2711-K3A5L1K terminal from the PanelView Standard Terminal series has a monochrome transflective liquid crystal display with LED backlight that allows up to 100000 hours of functioning before replacing. The size of the screen is 73 by 42 millimeters (128 x 64 pixels). The user interface of the system is set of 8 key buttons with additional navigation buttons. The battery of the panel is not replaceable. The 2711-K3A5L1K panel has an RS-232 and DH-485 port. The terminal communication require the uploads and downloads through the DH-485 port, while the RS-232 port is for printing only. With its easy-to use and intuitive GUI, PanelBuilder will speed up development time and efficiency in many ways. Download on target is possible using a direct connection or a gateway. The terminal will be set up in environments  according to  IEC-1131-2 pollution degree 2 protection that means non-conductive contamination will occur only. The panel has vibrations of up to 2 g at 2000 hertz. Wiring, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks require an engineer to design the enclosure in order to provide an access point to the back of the terminal. The COMM Status Indicator LED on the back of the panel will show whether or not the communication of the terminal is running and the FAULT Status Indicator LED will show whether an error has occurred or not. The difference between this panel and the 2711-K3A5L1 is that this model is conformal-coated.
