The Allen-Bradley 2711-K6C20 is an operator terminal that provides an effective interface between the user and the machine and enables the user to optimize the functions of every device within the system. Power connection terminals that connect to an external power outlet are present on the rear end of the device. The operator terminal is user-controlled and is also equipped with status indicators that indicate faults within the system. The terminal is housed in an enclosure with sufficient space and ventilation. The front of the terminal is sealed to the panel or enclosure using a sealing gasket. A reset button is also provided to configure the terminal in accordance with its default settings. The 2711-K6C20 terminal communicates over an Ethernet/IP network and can connect with multiple remote devices over the network. The RS-232 file transfer port of the terminal can use the Ethernet/IP network to establish a link with remote scanners and printers. The Ethernet/IP network is efficient and adds a degree of versatility to the electronic terminal. An Ethernet connector can be used to connect with a programmable logic controller or a small logic controller. The 1769-K6C20 belongs to the PanelView 600 series and has a maximum power consumption of 60 volt-amperes. The electronic terminal can be powered by either AC or DC and requires a connection to the ground.
