The 2711-NL6 is a LED replacement backlight kit for the PanelView Standard 1000 Series B terminal. The 2711-NL6 is a light-emitting diode (LED) replacement backlight kit. The kit is designed to be used with PanelView Standard 1000 and PanelView 1000e series. It is designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley and is one of the many 2711 PanelView standard terminal accessories present in the market. This backlight has a half-life of 50,000 hours. The terminals are widely used and offer both color and gray displays. The PanelView terminals possess color active matrix displays with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and electroluminescent (EL) displays with 640 x 480 pixels of display resolution. These terminals support important communication networks such as DeviceNet, Bradley Data Highway Plus, PROFIBUS, ControlNet, remote input output networks, Modbus protocols, DF1, Ethernet networks, and various other networks. The 2711-NL6 is an important accessory for both these terminals. The LED replacement backlight kit includes an LED light, a fiber optic bundle,  a holder, and a complete lens assembly. For installation, proper guidelines have to be followed and the power of the terminal has to be disconnected prior to installation. Once power is cut off, the covering is removed to gain proper access inside the terminal. The old LED is disconnected and replaced with the new LED from the kit. It is made sure that it is tightly connected and then the cover is again secured in place. The terminal is powered up to check if the new LED works according to the given specification.
