Part number 2711-NM13, which was produced by Allen Bradley, is a flash memory card. The Series 2 memory module is designed for 2 megabytes of storage capacity. The ATA memory card is designed as an accessory for the PanelView HMI operator terminals. Its basic application is in storage use for PanelView 1000 and 1400 terminals that require supplementary application memory. It can be connected to a standard PanelView operator terminal through via the memory card slot located on the back side of the terminal. The card is then used for uploading and downloading of application and data files. The physical dimensions of this memory card measure 5 mm x 4 mm x 2 mm and has an approximate weight of 0.11 pounds, or the equivalent of 0.049 kilograms. The card can be used with PanelView terminals at altitudes of up to 2000 meters. It is designed to withstand humidity ratings of 5 to 95% without condensation. The card is not adequate for use in extreme conditions and temperatures. A retainer is also attached to the other end of the memory card to protect the card against electrical shock from free high voltage cables inside an electrical enclosure. The retainer can prevent the card from electrostatic discharge (ESD) of levels of up to 15 kilovolts. The card must be handled with care as it can break with rash handling or bending. This flash memory card complies with KC and CCC standards. This memory card offers communication and controller connectivity using various communication protocols, including Ethernet, DeviceNet, DH-485, and much more.
