The 2711-NM232 by Allen Bradley/ Rockwell Automation is an ATA type flash random-access memory (RAM) card with a storage capacity of 32MB. It is a Series A card and is used for storing applications and font files. It is designed to store runtime applications and image and data files. It is compatible with PanelView standard terminals as a data transfer mechanism. The PanelView Standard terminals provide robust electronic operator interface solutions for a variety of applications. The 2711-NM232 memory card is used with the PanelView standard terminal for transferring (uploading/ downloading) application files between a computer and the terminal through a memory card slot. The memory card can be used with PanelView 300/550/600/900/1000/1400 series operator terminals and is not supported on PanelView 300 Micro terminals.

The memory card is connected to the PanelView terminal via the memory card slot at the terminal’s backside with a retainer attached to the card’s other end. The retainer protects the card against electrical shock from loose high voltage leads in an electrical enclosure. It allows an electrostatic discharge (ESD) of up to 15 kV. The 2711-NM232 memory card is certified by CCC and KC standards. The card weighs approximately 0.3 lb (0.14 kg). It can be used with the PanelView terminal at a maximum altitude of 2000 m within a humidity range of 5 to 95% noncondensing. The card should not be used in extreme temperatures and can break if dropped or bent.
