The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A9L1 PanelView monochrome terminal has a 5.5-inches liquid crystal blue mode display (LCD) which has a resolution of 256 x 128 pixels. This PanelView monochrome terminal operates with the touch screen in which each screen object can occupy 128 touch cells. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A9L1 terminal contains an RS-232 serial (DH-485) port which communicates with SLC 500, MicroLogix controllers and with processors through the DH-485 network and provides a dedicated link for high priority messages in a peer to peer configuration. This PanelView monochrome terminal has also an RS-232 which can be connected only to a printer. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A9L1 terminal includes 170 kilobytes random access memory (RAM) for runtime applications and 240 kilobytes nonvolatile flash memory. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A9L1 supports a memory card which stores applications. This monochrome terminal uses a 1747-UIC cable to both upload and download application files between this terminal and the computer. The Allen-Bradley 2711-T5A9L1 monochrome touch screen terminal supports an input voltage rating range of 18 to 32 volts DC with a maximum power consumption of 18 watts. This 2711-T5A9L1 PanelView monochrome terminal supports 24 volts DC power. The 2711-T5A9L1 terminal should be installed in panels or enclosure to preserve the internal circuitry.
