The PanelView Plus 700 2711P-B7C4D1 from Allen Bradley is the ideal choice for creating human machine interfaces for compact applications. This terminal is built on a modular architecture that includes a display module, logic module, and an optional communication modules. The terminal has a variety of communication ports including one Ethernet port, one RS-232 port, and two USB ports. The RS-232 port is used for connecting supported devices such as printers while the USB ports are used for connecting peripheral and external storage devices. The 2711P-B7C4D1 has an internal memory of 64 MB RAM and 32 MB of flash memory. The terminal also has a socket for connecting the external communication module to the terminal. It expands communication possibilities to Remote I/O networks, DH+ (data highway plus), and DH-485. The display module includes a 6.5 inch color screen with integrated touch. The display screen has a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The 2711P-B7C4D1 features a keypad and a touch screen for operator input. There are twenty numeric keys, twenty-two functional keys, and four arrow keys on the keypad. Memory extension modules can be used to increase CompactFlash to 512 MB and RAM to 256 MB.
