The Allen-Bradley PanelView 2711P-RDB10C display module is primarily a display accessory that can be used to enhance the performance of an operator terminal that belongs to Rockwell Automation’s PanelView Plus 6 Standard 1000 series of terminals. The module can function on a power supply of either alternating or direct current. If alternating current is used as an input power source, a voltage ranging from 85 volts to 264 volts is required for optimum performance. Similar results can be obtained by using a direct current power source with a voltage rating between 18 volts and 32 volts. The module is generally mounted on a panel and can be installed on a door or a wall of a NEMA Type 12/13 enclosure. The enclosure must be designed to ensure that adequate clearances are maintained to allow for ventilation and air supply. This also improves the system’s ease of maintenance and ease of use, ensuring a comfortable experience for the user.

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RDB10C module is used to accentuate the performance characteristics of the operator terminal. The display module contains communication ports that support Ethernet/IP communication networks. The module can be configured over an Ethernet network to enhance the remote accessibility of the module. This allows the user to relay messages, data, and instructions to remote I/O components within the industrial automation system and improve the overall productivity of the system.
