A part of the PanelView Plus 700 series, the 2711P-T7C6A2 by Allen-Bradley offers monitoring, controlling, and graphic visualization capabilities. This operator terminal has a modular structure (3 modules are present for this terminal) to give users the opportunity to customize the device to meet their own requirements. The display module contains a color resistive touch display. The active-matrix LCD panel, with a 640 x 480 resolution, has a diagonal dimension of 6.5 inches and an area (height x width) of 3.9 x 5.9 inches. The terminal has 128 MB of RAM and 128 MB of flash memory. The terminal supports a wide variety of communication interfaces, notably DH-485 (RS‑485 transmission standard), DH+, Ethernet, Process Remote I/O, RS-232, and USB. It has two USB ports, one Ethernet port, and one port for serial RS-232 communication, which is the recommended standard. These connectors link the terminal to SLC controllers, printers, and devices over IP. It also enables the attachment of external communication modules and memory extension modules that are used to improve communications as well as memory storage. An external CF (compact flash) card with a maximum of 512 MB can be attached to the logic module. The 2711P-T7C6A2 also includes a real-time clock facilitated by a lithium battery, which can be removed and replaced. It is operated via alternating current (AC) voltage sources with a minimum terminal voltage of 85 volts and a maximum terminal voltage of 264 volts. The terminal may take apparent power from the source of up to 164 volt-ampere. It includes an x86 Intel Celeron processor.
