The MPM-B1304E-MJ72AA servo motor is a part of Allen Bradley's Bulletin MPM series of products. For larger inertia application domains, this Bulletin offers motors that are light, power-dense, smaller, and have many functions. This servo motor, which is based on the well-known MP-series motor technology & performance targets, is ideal for a variety of applications such as web processing, printing, conversion, and so on. Usually, the range of applications demands enough power within a smaller unit. It comes with a rotor that is well-matched to loads with heavy inertia.

A rotary encoder in the MPM-B1304E-MJ72AA produces very efficient multi-turn feedback at a maximum of 4096 turns. Since it is an electromechanical approach, there is no power source needed to activate it. The 130-millimeter diameter circle passes through the center of the frame's free holes, and the positioning and sizing of these holes and frame comply with the IEC 72-1 norm. There are four (4) magnetic stacks present in this motor.

MPM-B1304E-MJ72AA provides a base speed of 2250 revolutions per minute. However, the maximum speed is rated at 4000 rpm and its rated speed is 3,500 rpm. It is meant to give a stall torque of 10.20 Newton meters (Nm) continuously. This motor consumes 10.8 amperes to achieve this output. The torque of the shaft may be raised to 27.1 Newton meters whenever heavy loads are connected to the shaft. The motor draws 34.3 amperes at its maximum. Its shaft has a threaded hole at its end and includes a key for rigid mechanical connections.
