The VPL-B1003C-CJ12AA is a VP series permanent magnet rotary low inertia servo motor specifically designed to work with the Kinetix 5500 and Kinetix 5700 servo drives. The motor voltage rating is 400 Volts and frame size is 100 millimeters; it has a 3-inch-long magnet stack. The motor speed rating is 2500 rpm with an 18 bit absolute single turn digital encoder that uses Hiperface DSL protocol. The motor has shaft key, no brake, and a single SpeedTEC DIN connector, right angle, 325 degrees rotatable. The radial load force rating for the range of 500 to 2500 kgf is 93.6 to 54.8 rpm and the axial load force rating for the same range is 33.0 to 16.0 rpm.

The motor works in the temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) and can be stored within a range of -30 to 40 degrees Celsius (-22 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) without any water drops condensing. It has a relative humidity rating of 5 to 90% and requires a noncorrosive storage atmosphere. The motor continuous stall torque is 4.18 N-m (37 lb-in) with a peak stall torque of 11.15 N-m (99 lb-in). The motor power rating is 0.96 Kilowatts (1.29 horsepower) and rotor inertia is 0.00012 kg-m2 (lb-in-s2). The servo motor weighs 4.45 kilograms (9.8 pounds). The motor is typically used in packaging, converting, material handling, electronic assembly, and automotive applications. The Kinetix VPL series motors are developed from the Kinetic MPL servo motor technology for high performance, reliability, and are therefore ideal for high volume production.
