Allen-Bradley designed and produced the 1732E-16CFGM12R as an Armor-Block two-port self-configurable Ethernet module. The module has sixteen (16) self-configuring sink-type inputs and sixteen (16) self-configuring source-type electronically fused outputs. The enclosure is IP sixty-five (65) to sixty-seven (67) certified with sixty-nine (60) K and Type four X for indoor use only with receptacle dust caps or cable termination. The off-state input voltage range is from zero (0) to five (5) volts direct current (DC) and the on-state input voltage is eleven (11) to thirty (30) volts direct current. The 1732E-16CFGM12R Armor-Block has a maximum sensor source current of fifty (50) milliamperes per input and a maximum sensor source current of eight hundred (800) milliamperes per module. The input delay time ranges from zero (0) to sixteen thousand (16,000) microseconds from On to Off. There are sixteen (16) digital output pins that are source-type, self-configuring, and electronically fused by point. Auxiliary power powers the output, which has output short circuit protection. The on-state current output range is one (1) to five hundred (500) milliamperes, and the maximum current per module on all outputs is eight (8) amperes.

The maximum off-state output current leakage is 50 micro-amperes, and the maximum surge current per output is 1.2 amperes for ten milliseconds, which is repeatable every two seconds. Auxiliary power has a maximum current range of eight (8) amperes and a maximum voltage range of twelve (12) to thirty (30) volts. The module has five (5) indicators: red or green for module status, red or green for network status, yellow and green for link status, green for auxiliary power, and yellow for input or output module. The dimensions of this module are 7.05 inches x 2.56 inches x 1.70 inches and the weight of this product is approximately 0.34 kilograms.
