The 1732E-8X8M12DR is an ArmorBlock 2-Port EtherNet/IP Module by Allen-Bradley. It is a 24 Volt DC I/O module that uses the Ethernet/IP network for communication. The ArmorBlock series feature sealed housings that require no enclosure. The I/O connectors are sealed according to the M12 specification. This module features 8 sinking inputs and 8 sourcing outputs that operate at a voltage of 24 Volts. The module has a maximum on-state input current rating of 5 milliamperes at 30 volts and a maximum off-state input current of 1.5 milliamperes at 5 Volts. The module has a pilot rating of DC-14. The isolation voltage rating is 50 Volts with a basic insulation type. The minimum on-state output voltage is 11 volts and the maximum is 30 Volts. The module features LED indicators that show module status, network status, link status, auxiliary power status, and I/O status. The auxiliary power is supplied with a single 4-pin mini Network Connector. 24 Volts of DC power are provided to I/O modules and other devices. Using a separate power supply for I/O devices that have output connections prevent the chances of power supply interruption caused by switching of outputs. Some devices require auxiliary power even without the presence of outputs. This unit is classified in Group 1, Class A for emissions. The operating temperature range is between -4 degrees and 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
