Description:

This Allen-Bradley SLC 500 Chassis Interconnect Cable is a ribbon type cable that is 4ft in length. It connects the chassis to extend the backplane and is used in linking the chassis with one another. It is the longest in any SLC 500 Interconnect Cable. It can connect chassis that is 0.914M and 1.27M in the enclosure and should be given a minimum of 4 inches of clearance from the side of the chassis to give enough space for proper bending of the cable.

The Allen-Bradley 1746-C16 is a robust cable that can be used in conjunction with serial logic controllers that belong to the SLC 500 Series to create a communication network within the industrial automation system. This network allows the user to ensure that the components of the system can interact with one another and create an interconnected pool of devices that improve the productivity and efficiency of the automation system. The cable has one slot and can be used with a variety of devices to create channels of communication that can be used during the operation of the system. The cable is highly compact and can be used in a variety of industrial environments to accentuate the communication capabilities of the industrial automation system. The cable has an unbendable shrink wrap applied at its ends to ensure that the design of the cable is equipped with adequate strain relief. This unique design improves the robustness of the cable.

The Allen-Bradley 1746-C16 is a sophisticated cable that can be used on chassis frames of various sizes and types. The cable is used to link one chassis below another in an industrial automation system and provides an element of connectivity to the hardware of the control system. The device is 1.27 meters long and has to be assembled at a minimum distance of 4 inches from the chassis frame to account for the bend radius of the cable in the enclosure.
