The 1746-NO4V is a 4-point, non-isolated standard analog voltage output module manufactured by Allen Bradley as part of the SLC 500 product line. It has an output range of 1 – 5 volts DC with a backplane current of 55 milliamps at 5 volts and 145 milliamps at 24 volts. The operator can use the external power supply of 24 volts DC with because it comes with an SW1 external power supply switch so that in case there is no sufficient power from the SLC power supply, some applications would require 21.6 – 26.4 volts DC. This module has 500 Volts DC of field wiring to backplane isolation with a maximum load reactance of 1 µF and milliamps maximum load current. The 1746-NO4V features a full scale of 10 volts DC and a normal output range of -10 to 10 volts 1 LSB and a normal output range of -10 to 10 volts 1 LSB. Allen Bradley 1746-NO4V 4-point, a non-isolated standard analog voltage output module, is a factory-calibrated module that operates on a 16-bit two’s complement binary communication format. It has an open-type enclosure and mounted on the 1746 chassis, with a detachable or removable terminal block (RTB). The module is also equipped with an LED status indicator; besides, it is well-matched with the #14 AWG maximum wire size. It has an update time of 512 µs for all the parallel channels, and 2.5 milliseconds step response time at 95 percent. Its operating temperature ranges between 32 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit, non-operating temperature ranges between -40 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit and has a non-condensing relative humidity of 5 – 95 percent.
