The 1746-OBP16 is a high current sourcing DC output module with a voltage category of 24 Volts of direct current and an operating voltage range of 20.4 to 26.4 Volts of direct current. It has 16 outputs and 16 points per common with a backplane current draw of 0.25 Amperes at 5 Volts of direct current and 0 Amperes at 24 Volts of direct current. The off-state leakage at maximum and load current at minimum are 1 milliampere. The continuous current per point is 1.5 Amperes at 30 degrees Celsius, 1 Ampere at 60 degrees Celsius, and 6.4 Amperes at 0 to 60 degrees Celsius per module. The on-state voltage drop is up to 1 Volt at 2 Amperes and surge current up to 4 Amperes for 10 ms per point and 32 Amperes for 10 ms are tolerable. The power dissipation is 0.31 Watts per point with a minimum dissipation of 1.25 Watts in total, going up to 6.26 Watts. The operating temperature is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and allowable storage temperature is -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F). The permissible humidity range is 5 to 95% (non-condensing) and noise immunity is per NEMA standard ICS 2-230. The module can tolerate displacement of 0.015 inch peak at 5 to 57 Hertz and acceleration of 2.5 Gs at 57 to 2000 Hertz. The shock tolerance is 30 Gs and isolation voltage is 1500 Volts. The module is UL listed, CSA / C-UL approved, and CE compliant. It is classified as Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D Hazardous Environment.
