The 1756-IF6CIS has a resolution of 16 bits. This module offers high performance for output response times for floating-point values by providing an input sampling time of 25 millisecond. The 1756-IF6CIS module can be employed in several applications mainly in the industrial field. The 1756-IF6CIS module can be supplied from the ControlLogix chassis with a current consumption of 275 milliamps. The 1756-IF6CIS module can be mounted easily on a 1756 ControlLogix chassis under power without either stopping the production or field calibration. This module offers the removable terminal block (RTB) to prevent the wrong wiring. The 1756-IF6CIS input module dissipates an electrical power of 5.1 watts. The 1756-IF6CIS module has channel status indicators and a fault status indicator which can help and simplify the maintenance and troubleshooting process.



This Allen-Bradley 1756-IF6CIS sourcing current loop analog isolated input module supports shielded or twisted-pair Belden 8761 wire or equivalent wires. This Allen-Bradley 1756-IF6CIS employs a notch and a digital programmable filter which provide noise rejection for the input signals. This hardware offers a synchronized input sampling feature for real-time control on an EtherNet/IP communication network to increase data visibility.
