The ControlLogix digital I/O module 1756-OX8I works over a voltage range of 10 to 265 Volts AC and 5 to 150 Volts DC with 8-point isolated contacts. The outputs are 8 normally open and 8 normally closed and individually isolated as two points per group. The pilot duty is C300/R150. It has an operating voltage range of 5 to 125 Volts DC and 10 to 240 Volts AC. The contact current rating ranges from 0.22 to 1 Ampere for DC voltage of 5 to 125 Volts and 0.75 to 1.5 Amperes for an AC voltage range of 120 to 240 Volts AC, 50/60 Hertz. The output delay time from on-to-off and off-to-on is 13 milliseconds maximum. Current draw at 5.1 to 24 Volts is 100 mA. The module has a power dissipation rate of 3.1 Watts at 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) and backplane power of 2.9 Watts. The thermal dissipation is 10.57 British Thermal Units (BTU) per hour. The minimum load current is 10 mA per point and initial contact resistance is 100 milliohms at 6 Volts, 1 Ampere at maximum. It has a switching frequency of 1 operation per 3 seconds (0.3 Hertz) at rated load and a bounce time of 1.2 milliseconds on average. The module needs 1 slot width in the chassis and does not have any enclosure. It has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 Fahrenheit) and nonoperating conditions such as storage are permissible at -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit).
