The 1760-MM2 is a memory module that is offered by Allen-Bradley. The module is part of the Bulletin 1760 series. This unit is an accessory item that is compatible with Pico programmable controllers in the GFX-70 series that have applications in counting, timing, simple logic, and real-time operations. This unit is a memory module with a data storage capacity of up to 16 kilobytes (kb) of information. This module is used to transfer data to Pico controllers and can also be used to back up user data, as well as programs. This memory module stores data in a non-volatile format, which allows the unit to retain data even after the removal of input power. The module has enough storage capacity to be able to store one Pico circuit diagram. The memory module can store system settings, as well as parameter settings, of the entire circuit diagram. This unit is intended to be used with 18-point controllers only. When used with Series B controllers, this memory module operates in Read Only mode and is not able to write any data or change parameter settings stored in memory. Other versions of this module are available that support 12-point controllers and offer 8 Kilobytes of memory capacity. A 32 kilobyte (kb) variant is also available but is not compatible with Series A controllers. The manufacturer includes one memory module per package. Data stored on the memory module can be added and existing data can be edited using the Pico module’s keypad and display.
