The 1762-L24BWA is a controller module manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as part of the 1762 product line and the MicroLogix 1200 drive series. This module supports up to 10 digital inputs for 24 volts DC in normal working conditions while it supports only 4 inputs for a fast supply voltage of 24 volts DC. The module can handle up to 10 relay outputs in normal working conditions. The 1762-L24BWA drive is manufactured especially for industrial and factory use. It comes with 14 units by default with 120 or 240 Volts AC, a power supply voltage when connected in sinks and source architecture. Other specifications include an output current of 1.5 amperes break current, and 15 amperes make current. This controller features a compact and small size that enables it to fit in different industry locations including small areas and tight cabinets. It has approximated dimensions of 3.43 x 4.33 x 3.5 inches and weighs about 2 pounds. This drive also supports a maximum load of up to 1440 volt-amperes with easy regulation and operation.
The Allen-Bradley 1762-L24BWA controller module uses the relay output circuit and comes with 20,000,000 cycles of mechanical relay lifespan and produces heat while in operation, heat, which dissipates 15.6 watts. This module can only be run under ambient temperature ranging between 0 - 55 degrees Celsius. The Allen-Bradley 1762-L24BWA drives support mounting in different locations through DIN Rail mounting base. It also comes with a DH485 Modbus RTU slave unit and adheres to the ASCII protocols. The module is certified for compliance with the EMC directives on electromagnetic compatibility, according to the Council Directive 89/336/EEC.
