This model is a base unit. The purpose of the base unit is the handle the power supply of the overall controller and it has a set of integrated I/Os. This model provides the user a set 24 I/Os (12 inputs and 12 outputs). The 12 inputs are used to read 120 volts or 240 volts AC signals and the input circuits do not allow adjustable filters, since they have maximum turn-on and turn-off times of 20 milliseconds. The 12 outputs are relay-based (2 per set of outputs). This models does not support high speed I/O. The nominal supply voltage of this base unit is either 120 or 240 volts (may range from 85 to 265 volts) at the frequency of 50 hertz (may range from 47 to 63 hertz). This base unit will work properly in an environment that does not exceed the temperature range going from 0 °C to 55 °C and can be maintained in a storage at temperatures ranging from -40 Celsius degrees to + 85 Celsius degrees. The device can withstand vibrations in the range of frequency going from 10 to 500 hertz, if the intensity of the vibrations is lower than 5 g. If the output relays are operating, aforesaid limit becomes 2 g. The impulse shock that the system can withstand while it is running is 5 g.
