Allen-Bradley's 1769-BA is a battery. It has a cylindrical type form cell and his dimensions in length are 1.04 inch (26.41 millimeters) by width of 0.58 inch (14.732 millimeters). The battery can be stored within an environment that possesses working temperature between -49 degrees Fahrenheit (-45 degrees Celsius) and 185 degrees Fahrenheit (85 degrees Celsius).The cell contains lithium battery with nominal voltage of three (3) volts and its capacity is eight hundred and fifty (850) milliamperes per hour. The battery chemical composition is hermetically packed in a metal can. For this reason, an exposure risk during normal operation cannot appear, unless the battery has been abused by external forces. It is a safe unit, classified as free from regulations about dangerous goods.

Its main purpose is to serve as a replacement unit to other Allen-Bradley batteries, predominantly from the family of 1747 battery group. The battery is successfully compatible with the BAS, L20, L30, L40, L511, L514, L524, L531 and L531 models from the 1747 series. These batteries can be mostly found in CompactLogix PLC Controllers and industrial computers. The battery has a ten (10) year shelf life, during which it can be expected to have very little self-discharge. During operations the battery maintains a stable voltage. By standard, the battery terminals have factory installed wire leads connectors. This feature would give an immediate advantage to connect directly to other terminals and use the battery safely. The battery is known as a very safe unit with great performance, produced by the highest standards of environmental protection.
