This is the 1769-L27ERM-QBFC1B L2 controller by Allen Bradley. The controller is part of the CompactLogix 5370 series. It is equipped with an integrated 24 Volt DC power supply. It offers connectivity via two Ethernet/IP ports that support operations using ring and linear topologies. The 1769-L27ERM-QBFC1B offers compatibility with high-speed counter I/O. It supports local expansion features and offers up to 40 percent reduced panel space requirements and provides high-performance capabilities in a cost-effective package. This module supports integrated motion systems connected via Ethernet/IP for up to four axes. Device Level Ring (DLR) network topologies are also supported by this L2 controller. This module offers 1 Megabyte of user data storage capacity and comes with a removable secure digital (SD) card for non-volatile memory storage. The 1769-L27ERM-QBFC1B is capable of supporting high-resolution analog data input and conversion that supports thermocouple and RTD inputs. It supports up to 32 controller tasks with each task allowing up to 100 programs to be run. 4 local expansion modules may be connected to this controller with support provided for 16 digital inputs and 4 universal analog inputs. 16 digital output sources are available. DeviceNet support is provided using compatible additional communications modules such as the 1769-SDN or other third-party modules. The non-volatile memory storage capacity of this L2 controller is expandable with the use of flash memory cards and certified secure digital memory cards that are rated for industrial use.
