The Allen-Bradley 1769-L30ERMS is a GuardLogix controller. This device comes with a standard internal memory of 1 MB plus an additional 0.5 MB of safety memory. The device can support a maximum of 16 EtherNet/IP network nodes. The 1769-L30ERMS can perform 32 continuous controller tasks and 100 periodic programs/tasks. This controller can support 256 controller connections and up to three I/ module banks. The 1769-L30ERMS comes embedded with two Ethernet ports and one USB port.

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L30ERMS is a compact GuardLogix controller, and it is part of the 5370 GuardLogix system. This device is certified for use in the safety integrity Level three and performance level applications. This 1769-L30ERMS GuardLogix controller is best suited for use with CompactLogix input/output modules. The module is available with two Ethernet communication ports that support DLR, linear, and star topologies. The device also supports common industrial protocol (CIP) and safety protocol and socket interface. This controller device will detect duplicate IP addresses and is also able to communicate with human-machine interfaces and remote input/output systems. Ethernet ports can interface with Ethernet switches. The 1769-L30ERMS uses RJ45 cables and can support up to 16 Ethernet nodes. This Allen-Bradley controller supports relay ladder, structured text and SFC, and function block programming languages. The controller has a power dissipation rating of 6.5 W. This GuardLogix controller device comes available with an onboard memory allocation of 1 MB as standard memory and 0.5 MB as safety memory. Operators can install up to eight compact input/output modules locally. This Allen-Bradley device provides cost-effective solutions for industrial automation through a compact GuardLogix platform. The 1769-L30 ERMS controller can be paired with 1769 input/output modules, data exchange modules, and accessories. The 1769-L30ERMS weighs approximately 0.54 kg (1.18 lbs.) and can be mounted on a DIN rail or panel.
