The 1769-L33ERM is an Allen-Bradley CompactLogix controller. This module is included in the 5370 L3 product series and offers a small form factor with options for expansion. It features integrated motion over Ethernet I/P networks. This controller has 2 Megabytes of volatile memory integrated and ships with a Secure Digital (SD) card that has a non-volatile memory capacity of 1 Gigabyte. An optional upgrade is also available providing up to 2 Gigabytes of memory capacity. This module has dual Ethernet ports that allow data transfer with other Programmable Logic Controllers, Human Machine Interfaces, and SCADA systems. A USB port is also provided to enable local communication. Support is provided for up to 16 1769 Compact I/O modules connected to the controller’s local backplane. A maximum of 3 additional I/O banks may be installed for increased capacity. This module can handle integrated motion in as many as 8 motion axes over Ethernet I/P. Supported programming languages include Sequential Function Chart (SFC), Function Block, Structured Text, as well as Relay Ladder. The module’s current draw at 5 Volt DC is 500 milliamperes. The 1769-L33ERM draws 225 milliamperes of current at 24 Volts DC, controller power. The maximum power dissipation rating is 4.5 Watts and the isolation voltage rating for this unit is 30 Volts continuous with a basic insulation type. It has been typed tested at 500 Volts AC for up to one minute. The 1769-L33ERM can be mounted using a panel mount or a DIN rail mount. It has a module width of 55.00 millimeters (2.17 inches) and weighs 0.31 kilograms (0.68 pounds).
