The Allen-Bradley 1769-PA2 compact I/O power supply provides 120/240 volts AC power to 1769-L3x controllers and I/O modules. This power supply supports 8 I/O modules which can be installed easily to the right or to the left of this power supply. The 1769-PA2 has a power supply distance rating of 8 modules and supports an input voltage rating range from 85 volts AC to 265 volts AC at frequencies from 43 hertz to 63 hertz. This Allen-Bradley 2 amp power supply can provide 1 amp to the right side of this power supply and 1 amp to the left at a voltage rating of 5 volts DC. The Allen-Bradley 1769-PA2 delivers a maximum amount of current in both directions of 2 amps at 5 volts DC and 1 amp at 24 volts DC which are the limit electrical specification of the 1769 Compact I/O bus. This power supply can be employed by 1769-L3x controller or by additional bank of I/O modules. This Allen-Bradley 1769-PA2 compact power supply can be connected easily to an adjacent I/O module before or after mounting. The 1769-PA2 compact power supply can be mounted on well-grounded panels using four mounting M4 or #8 screws or on either EN 50 022 - 35 x 7.5 or EN 50 022 - 35 x 15 DIN rails. The 1769-PA2 dissipates an electrical power of 18 watts at a temperature of 60 degrees celsius. This Allen-Bradley 1769-PA2 is intended for use in a mainly industrial environment that is clean and dry (Pollution degree 2) and overvoltage Category II applications as defined in IEC publication 60664-1. This Allen-Bradley 1769-PA2 power supply weighs approximately 525 grams (1.16 pounds) while shipping and can operate at a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).
