The Allen-Bradley 1769-SDN compact DeviceNet scanner module includes an interface which allows to communicate between DeviceNet devices, MicroLogix 1500 and CompactLogix controllers over the network through change of state, strobe, poll, or cyclic I/O messages to read data inputs from or write outputs to slaves, to connect to peer devices (messaging) and to both upload and download applications to the 1764-LRP over a DeviceNet network.
