Product number 1771-NIV1 is a high-resolution isolated analog module that was designed and produced by the company known as Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation. This Allen Bradley module belongs to the Bulletin 1771 series of products. This device has a total of eight (8) input channels that are all individually isolated. This high-resolution isolated analog module may be located/attached to any slot on an I/O chassis. Additionally, this module only takes up a single slot. The Allen Bradley 1771-NIV1 has an A/D resolution of 16 bits. Additionally, this module has a D/A resolution of 14 bits. The input filtering of this Allen Bradley device includes a six (6) pole, low pass hardware filter. This module needs to be calibrated once every year. This Allen Bradley product can withstand an isolation voltage rated up to one thousand (1000) volts DC when operating continuously. It has a maximum backplane current of 1.5 amperes at 5 volts. It also has a maximum power dissipation rating of 6.0 watts at 5 volts. 

When operating the Allen Bradley 1771-NIV1 high-resolution isolated analog module, the temperature of the surrounding area should range from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, or the equivalent temperature range of 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. However, when this module is not being operated, or is being stored, the temperature of the surrounding area should range from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, or -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The relative humidity levels appropriate for this device range from 5% to 95% and should be non-condensing.
