The 1771-SDN is a DeviceNet Scanner Module by Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. It has a backplane current power consumption of 5 Volts DC at 0.8 Amps and a DeviceNet power consumption of 24 Volts DC, 50 milliamps per channel Class 2. This hardware has an isolation voltage with optical isolation between backplane and DeviceNet channel, tested to withstand 500 Volts AC for 60 seconds. It has an operating temperature between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius and a storage temperature between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity is 5% to 95%, non-condensing and its vibration is 2 g at 10-500 Hertz. The 1771-SDN is equipped with a bicolor module status indicator to display the status of the device; it communicates to the end user as to whether the device has power and/or is functioning properly. If the indicator is flashing green, this indicates that the module has not yet been configured. Flashing red indicates that there is an invalid configuration. Solid red indicates to the user that the module has an unrecoverable fault.
