Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation designed and manufactured the 1771-WF field wiring arm. This device was designed for use with analog signal units that are separated from the 1771-IL (Series B) range. This PLC-5 field wire arm features gold contact coating and 8 I/O ports that can be accommodated, as well as 18 terminals. The screw torque of the wire arms is rated at 7 to 9 pounds per inch. The use of a wire arm enhances the connection procedure between a module and a plant's wiring seamlessly and flexibly, while also boosting the connection's integrity. This Allen Bradley wire arm is self-powered and includes AC and DC voltage delays of 29 and 30 milliseconds, respectively.

The 1771-WF wire arm is 114.3 millimeters wide, 314.9 millimeters high, and 160 millimeters deep. This unit's thermoplastic outer shell is not only suited for industrial usage, but it is also extremely light. This component weighs just 100 grams, or the equivalent of 0.2 pounds. The 1771-WF arm, like the other wire arms in the 1771 series, is also covered by a typical industrial conformal coating. In usual applications, this product has a low resistance. When this field wiring arm is being operated, the temperature of the surrounding area should range from 0 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the temperature of the surrounding area when this device is being stored should range from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, the relative humidity should have levels that range from 5% to 95%, as well as being non-condensing.
