The Mini-PLC 2/16 processor 1772-LXP is installed in the left most slot of the 1771 I/O chassis and it has a backplane current of 1.25 Amperes. It has a data table size of 48 to 3968 floating words and memory size of 4000 16-bit words RAM. The I/O scan time is 0.82 ms for 2-slot addressing, 2.0 ms for 1-slot addressing, and 2.15 ms for 1/2-slot addressing. The program scan rate is 7.5 milliseconds/K at minimum and 12 millisecond per typical application program. The I/O capacity is typically 256. The key switch on the front panel and from the keyboard of the 1770-T3 terminal are used for mode selection. The operating temperature range of the mini-PLC is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit) and the storage temperature limits are -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit) with relative humidity allowable to be within 5 and 95% (no condensation). The self-contained power supply has input voltage of 120 or 220 volts of alternating current with a selectable switch. The input voltage can vary from 97 to 132 Volts and 194 to 264 Volts of alternating current. The nominal input power is 96 Volt-amperes or Watts and frequency range is 47 to 63 Hertz. The output current to backplane is 4 Amperes. The processor has a 488 timer counter and allows for data manipulation and block transfer. It is capable of performing three digit math, program control, jump subroutine, and file sequencing. It is also capable of six digit math and BCD to binary and binary to BCD conversions. The processor hardware includes key switch, battery, EEPROM, and 4A I/O power.
