Part number 1783-BMS10CGN was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley as a Stratix 5700 Ethernet-managed switch. This Allen Bradley device features a total of ten (10) ports, including eight (8) fast Ethernet ports and two (2) Gigabit Ethernet Combo ports. Furthermore, this switch reaches the peak current of 0.5 to two (2) amperes at twelve (12) to forty-eight (48) volts of direct current, Class two/SELV, and this device also uses up fifteen (15) watts at twenty-four (24) volts direct current at forty (40) degrees Celsius. The peak power consumption of this device is twenty (20) watts. The device is type tested at 850 volts direct current for sixty (60) seconds and has basic insulation and no isolation between individual Ethernet ports and no isolation between console port and system. This Allen Bradley produced switch has an open-type enclosure and a T4 temperature code rating for both the North American and IEC temperature codes. Moreover, this switch operates at a temperature range of forty (40) to sixty (60) degrees Celsius. The ideal temperature for this switch ranges from negative forty (-40) to eighty-five (85) degrees Celsius, with a humidity rating of five (5) to ninety-five (95) percent with no condensation. This module is also categorized as Emissions Class A and possesses ESD immunity to contact discharges of eight (8) kilovolts and air discharges of fifteen (15) kilovolts. This device has a weight of approximately 1.38 kilograms. The module has a vibration rating of 2 G at 10 to 500 hertz, with a 30 G operational shock rating and a 55 G non-operating shock rating.
