The Allen-Bradley 1794-TB3S is a compact terminal base unit that provides a platform for the wiring and I/O connections in an industrial automation system. The device is equipped with 16 compatible terminals that can be connected to the I/O wiring and form a communication network that provides an element of accessibility and productivity to the control system. The terminals can be plugged together with I/O connections to form a backplane and establish channels of communications between the terminal base unit and the other electrical components of the automation system.
