Allen-Bradley 1797-TB3 is a part of the FLEX Series and is an I/O terminal base module. The device is a compact I/O system that can be used for distributed applications. It performs all the functions of rack-based I/O system. The block transfer module processes analog signals. It can be coupled with an Allen-Bradley programmable controller that possesses block transfer capability. The module operates at 125 volts of alternating current or direct current and has a current rating of 10 amperes. The terminal base is equipped with 36 wiring connections and a plug-in module. Each terminal usage depends on the module that is mounted to the base. The 1797-TB3 module is available in two configurations: a screw-cage terminal base and a spring-clamp terminal base. The tab covers are factory-installed on both the terminal bases for the backplane bus connection.
