The 1799-ZCIOV, designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley, is a zone control input/output card module. This device has ten (10) sinking or sourcing inputs on each of its blocks with five (5) volts direct current (DC) along with a current rating of one-point-five (1.5) milliamperes (mA). The on-state voltage of this module ranges from ten (10) to thirty (30) volts DC and the current ranges from two (2) to six (6) milliamperes. This Allen-Bradley card module has ten (10) to thirty (30) volts of output auxiliary voltage. Additionally, it has a rated voltage drop of 250 million volts. This device's has a 0.5 ampere on-state current and the off-state leakage rate is twenty (20) micro amps. The card current rating of this module with all of the outputs on is four (4.0) amperes. Additionally, the surge current is one (1) ampere.

LED indicators are equipped to this Allen-Bradley device. These indicators include card status (red and green), network status (red and green), auxiliary power (green), DeviceLogix status (green), input point LED (yellow), and output point LED (yellow). The DeviceNet power of this Allen-Bradley device has a voltage that ranges between eleven (11) volts DC minimum and twenty-five (25) volts DC maximum. Additionally, the current rate of the DeviceNet power is one hundred and twenty-five (125) milliamperes maximum. The auxiliary power of this unit, however, has a voltage range of ten (10) volts DC minimum to thirty (30) volts DC maximum. The auxiliary power current minimum is one hundred (100) milliamperes when all of the outputs are off. The auxiliary power current maximum is four (4) amperes when all of the outputs are on. The operating temperature range recommended for this Allen-Bradley card module is from negative ten (-10) to sixty (60) degrees Celsius (-40 to 140 °F). When storing this product, the temperature range should be from negative forty (-40) to eighty-five (85) degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 °F). The dimensions of this Allen-Bradley device measure out to 26 millimeters x 51 millimeters x 163 millimeters (1 inch x 2 inches x 6.4 inches).
