The 100S-C43EJ14BC is a safety contactor that is designed to isolate a control system from hazardous loads. The loads can be motors, lighting, heaters, etc. This contactor works on the principle of feedback control systems. The contactor is capable of handling a maximum of 43 amperes. The 100S-C43EJ14BC features 3 power poles, (1) one normally open, and (4) four normally closed bifurcated auxiliary contacts. This contactor comes with an electronic coil that required a 24 volts DC supply to operate at 60 hertz. The safety contactor consists of mechanically linked and mirror contacts. The contacts are IP2X protected. The IP2X rating provides protection against accident touches to the contact terminals of the coil. 

Install the contactor in a panel box for normal operation and to prevent unwanted interruptions. The maximum height the 100S-C43EJ14BC can be mounted to is 9000 ft. The contactor is not a compact contactor and, therefore, will require a considerable amount of space when installing. This device measures approximately 46 mm x 107 mm x 137 mm (width x height x depth). The coil is a DC component on this contactor, and it operates on 24 volts DC. The opening delay on the coil is 16 to 20 milliseconds and the closing delay time is 20 to 50 milliseconds. The maximum ripple is +/- 15% with the minimum off-time of the coil being 50 milliseconds. The conductor cross-section supported by the 100S-C43EJ14BC is 2.5 to 16-millimeter square. This contactor is according to the IEC, CSA, UL, and CE standards. The 100S-C43EJ14BC is SUVA, third-party certified.
