Allen Bradley designed and manufactured the 1494H-DN3H6 switch, which is a three-pole, three-phase, fusible disconnect switch. The three-phase, three-pole disconnect switch 1494H-DN3H6 has a rated voltage of 600 volts AC, a rated horsepower of thirty (30) to seventy (70) horsepower, and a continuous rated current of one hundred (100) amperes. The main function of this Allen Bradley disconnect switch module is to serve as a manual disconnect element for industrial and commercial electrical circuits, but in addition to that, it also provides short-circuit protection via fuses embedded in each of the three (3) operating voltage phases. It comes pre-assembled inside a NEMA Type 3R enclosure and is suitable for use in outdoor applications where rain, snow, or sleet may occur. Moreover, this enclosure type is also ideal for indoor applications where there is a high level of humidity or where water may drip onto the device. This Allen Bradley switch is also a member of the heavy-duty disconnect family, which can withstand the harshest interior and exterior applications in any type of industrial or commercial facility.
