The Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation 1494R-N3 is a mechanical terminal lug connector kit that is designed to be utilized as an accessory for 1494C disconnect switches. The 1494R-N3 lug connector’s primary application is joining cables to equipment pads or posts in 1494C disconnect switches. Other accessories for the 1494C disconnect switches include auxiliary contacts, auxiliary contact adapter kits, protective fuse covers, and electrical interlocks. A single 1494R-N3 package kit provides three (3) lug connectors with one (1) bolt hole in each connector. The connectors are based on screw type connection technique. It can operate with a disconnect switch size/ amperage of 200 amperes. The lug connector is compatible and can be conveniently used with disconnect switch models of 1494C/ F/ G/ GX/ GY/ V. The kit allows the connection of cables with conductor sizes ranging from 1 No. 6 to No. 0000 (#6…4/0) AWG.
