The Allen-Bradley SMC-3 solid state controller 150-C3NBR offers three-phase motor control which has advanced features for intelligent operation and fast response. The device proves to be economical with its embedded bypass that reduces additional hardware needs and a perfect guard for overload protection (as well as for easy motor diagnostics). It has DIP switches and a rotary dial to configure controls. Since the overload trip is electronic, the trip class can be selected. The controller can perform motor operations such as soft start, current limit start, selectable kickstart, coast to rest, and soft stop using the operator set parameters for each function. It has an ampere rating of 3 Amperes and has an open-type enclosure. The input line voltage is 200 to 460 Volts AC, 3-phase, 50/60 Hertz and control voltage is 24 Volts AC/DC. The rated impulse voltage is 6 kilo-volts and DV/DT protection is 1000 V/µs. It has an operating temperature range of -5 to 50 degrees Celsius (23 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit) and it can be stored or transported at -25 to 85 degrees Celsius (-13 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit) with humidity ranging from 5 to 95% without condensate. The controller can operate at an altitude of up to 2000 meters (6560 feet). It can endure vibration of 1.0 G peak, 0.15 millimeters (0.006 inches) displacement while in service and 2.5 G peak, 0.38 millimeters (0.015 inches) displacement when out of service. The resistance to shock is 15 G while operational and 30 G when not operational. It has an IP2X type protection rating.
