The 150-NMBD00 was designed and manufactured by Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation to serve as a control module kit that supports all starting modes, which is inclusive of soft start with a predetermined kickstart along with a dual ramp start and a current limit start with a predetermined kickoff, as well as a full start voltage. Due to the open design of this Allen Bradley control module, operators must make sure this module housed in an enclosure. Furthermore, this Allen Bradley controller is convection cooled. The internal temperature of the enclosure should be kept between zero (0) and fifty (50) degrees Celsius, which is the equivalent of thirty-two (32) to one hundred and twenty-two (122) degrees Fahrenheit. This Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation SMC Dialog Plus controller should be installed by skilled and knowledgeable operators. This device should be installed / mounted in an area that allows for vertical ventilation. This control module requires a minimum of fifteen (15) centimeters, or the equivalent of six (6) inches, of clearance space. In addition to everything that has been stated, this SMC Dialog Plus controller can be programmed using the integrated keypad and liquid crystal display (LCD). However, operators must keep in mind that if the bypass contactor is used, the energy saving function will be inaccessible to the user operating this module. In addition to that, if operators need or want to activate both the energy saving and the phase rebalancing features, the operators must go on to perform the phase rebalancing function.
